Suad, a Palestinian mother from Gaza, fights every day to survive with her 6-month-old son Khaled. What was once a situation of hope has turned into an endless struggle. She has lost all hope of leaving Gaza due to the difficulties of travel, and her daily life is filled with challenges. Baby formula is unavailable in the market, and when she finds fruits or vegetables, she can only afford to buy enough for one day’s meal for her son. The flour they rely on for their food is infested with bugs and is unsafe, but they have no other option. Khaled suffers from breathing issues that have been ongoing for some time, and he urgently needs daily nebulizer treatments, but the circumstances make it hard to provide them. Suad needs your help, and so does her son, in these incredibly hard times.

Our family, the Dohan family, is suffering under painful and difficult circumstances in Gaza. Father Moatasem bears the burden of war every day alongside his son Youssef, while Nada and Nouran suffer from severe food shortages and contaminated water, which has led to many health problems due to environmental pollution. 🌍💔Mother Iman, who is in Egypt, devotes her effort to caring for her daughter, Nour, who was seriously injured as a result of the bombing that destroyed their house. 🏥🚨 Unfortunately, we have no other way to get help except through a GoFundMe donation campaign. With hearts full of hope, we appeal to you to support us in creating this campaign to provide treatment for Nour and purchase basic food commodities. I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.

Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.

People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.

When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.

I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

On this day a year ago, my children were on their way to school and suddenly they heard the sounds of missiles and continuous explosions. They returned home scared and terrified. None of us knew what was happening. We felt like we had lost our lives, and that is what happened. We lost our home and everything we owned in a moment. It was the beginning of the nightmare. The house disappeared with all its details and their dreams. Even their toys turned to ashes. They destroyed their childhood!!

Since that day until now, we don't know how long we haven't had a day of rest. Death follows us all the time. We have escaped death many times, but I fear loss. Ahmad is only 14. He loved school and had dreams of being a doctor which were stolen from him.

He and his family were displaced when the war reached their neighborhood and destroyed their home.

They fled to a makeshift refugee camp, where they now live with thousands of other families.

Ahmad's father lost his job in September and the campaign's funds now go towards basic necessities rather than just evacuation. The current priority is to get a new tent and winter supplies before the weather gets even colder.

They abandoned their tent in Khan Yunis due to an unexpected evacuation and their current shelter is inadequate.

Ahmad sent me photos and the walls are made of a flimsy, torn material.

Sep 30: Heavy rainfall recently flooded the area, soaking luggage and bedding in frigid water. The family had to deal with this for several days.

I am Kareman Palestinian mother and children's teacher , and I live with my husband Ayman and my son Hamoud in an unending hell since October 7th, 2023.

The war has destroyed everything in our lives. We used to live a simple life, but it was full of hope. Now, all that remains for us is fear and suffering. The school where I worked has been destroyed, my husband's boat, which provided for us, is now just rubble, and we have nothing left.

We now live in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the freezing cold or the constant bombings surrounding us. Every night, we sleep hearing the sounds of explosions, never knowing if we will wake up to a new dawn. As for food, it has become a luxury we can no longer afford. The price of flour has exceeded $350, and the milk for my son Hamoud is only available to me at $125, which is what we need just to survive.

Despite all these challenges, we live with only one hope: to evacuate when the crossing is opened. But the cost of evacuation exceeds $45,000, a huge sum that we do not have. We need your help now more than ever. Every small donation is a chance for us to stay alive, and every support from you is the only hope for us to escape this hell.

Every time we remember the displacements and the shells falling around us, we wonder: Will there ever be a day when we can escape this suffering? Will there be a day when we can provide food for our children in a safe place? We only want a chance to survive, a chance to escape this hell😭
